SENATE BILL 160 By: Young
AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to the Oklahoma Historical Society;
making an appropriation; stating pu rpose; providing
an effective date; and decl aring an emergency.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma
Historical Society from any monies not otherwise app ropriated from
the Special Cash Fund, the su m of Six Hundred Twenty-five Thousand
Dollars ($625,000.00) for the purpose of developing plans and other
pre-construction costs related to the Clara Luper Civil Rights
Center.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2021.
SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason where of this act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage an d approval.
