7575 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
7676 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
7777 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1000 of Title 52, unless there
7878 is created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows:
7979 A. This act shall be known and may be cited as the “Oklahoma
8080 Consumer Energy Choi ce Act”.
8181 B. For the purposes of this act, “energy source” means any
8282 source used to generate electric power including but not limited t o:
8383 aviation fuel, biofuel, compressed natural gas, diesel, electricity
8484 to be utilized for the charging of electric vehicles, gasoline, gas
8585 distillates, hydrogen, liquified petroleum gas, and renewable
8686 diesel.

138138 C. No city, town, county, or political subdivi sion shall adopt
139139 an ordinance, rule, or code which limits consumer access to an
140140 energy source or that results in the de facto pro hibition of a
141141 wholesaler, retailer, or the related infrastructure that is
142142 necessary to provide consumer ac cess to a specific energy source
143143 within the jurisdiction of a city, town, or county.
144144 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective Novem ber 1, 2022.
