75	75	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAH OMA:
76	76	SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 44 O.S. 2021, Section 242, is
77	77	amended to read as follows:
78	78	Section 242. A. Such military forces shall be designated as
79	79	the “Oklahoma State Guard ” and shall be composed of officers
80	80	commissioned or assign ed, and such able-bodied male citizens of the
81	81	state as shall volunteer for service therein. They shall be
82	82	additional to and distin ct from the National Guard of the State of
83	83	Oklahoma, as defined in Title 32 of the United States Code. They
84	84	shall not be required to serve outside the boundaries of the State
85	85	of Oklahoma.
86	86	B. If, for any reason, t he Department of Defense removes
87	87	national recognition from the Oklahoma National Guard, all
