7575 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
7676 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
7777 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 6-121 of Title 26, unless there
7878 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
7979 By the effective date of this act, the State Election Board
8080 shall update the system used fo r ballots for elections in Oklahoma
8181 to meet the following requirements :
8282 1. All ballots shall have a uni que identifier numbe r or code
8383 printed in at least two locations on the ballot ;
8484 2. All ballots shall have a perforated section that includes
8585 the unique identifier number or code where the voter can tear off
8686 that portion of the ballot to keep as a method t o identify his or
8787 her ballot;

139139 3. Ballots shall be digitized and made available to the general
140140 public within thirty (30) days of each election to include the
141141 following requirements:
142142 a. all ballots shall be digitized and uploaded to a
143143 publicly accessible website where the public can
144144 scroll through and view all ballots,
145145 b. all digitized ballots shall be searc hable by the
146146 ballot unique identifier number or co de,
147147 c. all digitized ballots shal l be maintained and
148148 searchable on the publicly accessible website for at
149149 least two (2) years after the election,
150150 d. all digitized ballot search options may be limited to
151151 the county or precinct level in order to maintain
152152 smaller file sizes on the publicly accessib le website;
153153 4. The Secretary of the State Election Board shall promulgate
154154 rules for the implementation of this section.
155155 SECTION 2. This act shall be come effective January 1, 2023.
