68	68	digitized and made available to th e public; requiring

75	75	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
76	76	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
77	77	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 6-121 of Title 26, unless there
78	78	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
79	79	By the effective date of this act, the State Election Board
80	80	shall update the system used fo r ballots for elections in Oklahoma
81	81	to meet the following requirements :
82	82	1. All ballots shall have a uni que identifier numbe r or code
83	83	printed in at least two locations on the ballot ;
84	84	2. All ballots shall have a perforated section that includes
85	85	the unique identifier number or code where the voter can tear off
86	86	that portion of the ballot to keep as a method t o identify his or
87	87	her ballot;

139	139	3. Ballots shall be digitized and made available to the general
140	140	public within thirty (30) days of each election to include the
141	141	following requirements:
142	142	a. all ballots shall be digitized and uploaded to a
143	143	publicly accessible website where the public can
144	144	scroll through and view all ballots,
145	145	b. all digitized ballots shall be searc hable by the
146	146	ballot unique identifier number or co de,
147	147	c. all digitized ballots shal l be maintained and
148	148	searchable on the publicly accessible website for at
149	149	least two (2) years after the election,
150	150	d. all digitized ballot search options may be limited to
151	151	the county or precinct level in order to maintain
152	152	smaller file sizes on the publicly accessib le website;
153	153	4. The Secretary of the State Election Board shall promulgate
154	154	rules for the implementation of this section.
155	155	SECTION 2. This act shall be come effective January 1, 2023.
