39	65		An Act relating to state parks; prohibiting occupying
40	66		a reserved campsite; prohibit ing entering a state
41	67		park where an entry fee is re quired; setting
42	68		administrative fine; providing for collection and
43	69		deposit of certain fines; providing for codification;
44	70		and declaring an emergency.

49	75		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OK LAHOMA:
50	76		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
51	77		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 2217A of Title 74, unless there
52	78		is created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows:
53	79		A. No person shall:
54	80		1. Physically occupy a campsite identified as “Reserved” by
55	81		Department staff or by the park reservation system, or fail to
56	82		vacate a campsite with in a reasonable time after being notified of
57	83		the campsite’s reserved status by Department staff ; or
58	84		2. Enter an area of a state park that is identified as an area
59	85		requiring payment of an entry fee without having first paid the
60	86		entry fee or being a valid pa rk entry passholder for the date of
61	87		entry.

89	139		B. Any violation of the provisions of this section may be
90	140		punishable by an administrative fine not exceeding :
91	141		1. Fifty Dollars ($50.00) f or a first offense;
92	142		2. One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for a second offense ; and
93	143		3. Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250.00) for any third or
94	144		subsequent offense.
95	145		C. All monies collected pursuant to this section shall be
96	146		deposited in the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department
97	147		Revolving Fund.
98	148		SECTION 2. It being immediately n ecessary for the preservation
99	149		of the public peace, hea lth or safety, an emergency is hereby
100	150		declared to exist, by re ason whereof this act shall take effect and
101	151		be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
