7171 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
7272 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
7373 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 34.70.2 of Title 62, unless
7474 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as foll ows:
7575 A. Upon the request of a state employee, a state agency shall
7676 make voluntary payroll dedu ctions for the employee to any church or
7777 religious organization.
7878 B. If the governing body of any county, municipality, or school
7979 district provides for voluntary payroll deductions to a credit union
8080 serving the employees of the county, municipality, or sch ool
8181 district, it shall provide voluntary payroll d eductions to any
8282 church or religious organization having a location in this state .
8383 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
