20	48		Section 353.30, as amended by Section 9, Chapter 106,
21	49		O.S.L. 2018 (59 O.S. Supp. 2020, Section 353.30),
22	50		which relates to administration of immunizations and
23	51		therapeutic injections; broadening authority of
24	52		pharmacist to administer immunizations ; and declaring

33	59		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

35	60		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 59 O.S. 2011, Section 353.30, as
36	61		amended by Section 9, Chapter 106, O.S.L. 2018 (59 O.S. Supp. 2020,
37	62		Section 353.30), is amende d to read as follows:

39	63		Section 353.30. A. The use of agreements in the practice of
40	64		pharmacy shall be acceptable within the rules promulgated by the
41	65		State Board of Pharmacy and in consultation with the State Board of
42	66		Medical Licensure and Supervision and t he State Board of Osteopathic
43	67		Examiners.

45	95		B. The Board shall develop and prepare permanent rules relating
46	96		to training requirements and administration of immunizations and

49	97		therapeutic injections in consultation within the State Board of
50	98		Medical Licensure an d Supervision and the State Board of Osteopathic
51	99		Examiners.

53	100		C. A pharmacist who has completed a requisite course of
54	101		training as approved by the Board in consultation with the State
55	102		Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision and the State Board of
56	103		Osteopathic Examiners may administer immunizations and therapeutic
57	104		injections on orders from a licensed prescriber , and may administer
58	105		immunizations that have been approved or authorized by the Food and
59	106		Drug Administration without a patient -specific prescription,
60	107		standing order or similar arrangement .

62	108		SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
63	109		of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
64	110		declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
65	111		be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
