47	75		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
48	76		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
49	77		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 953.3 of Title 47, unless there
50	78		is created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows:
51	79		Notwithstanding any other provisi on of law, an insurer accepting
52	80		liability for paying a claim for services performed by a wrecker or
53	81		towing operator shall make that claim directly payable to the
54	82		operator. Such services shall include, but are not limited to,
55	83		towing, nonconsensual towing, vehicle removal and clearing the
56	84		roadway following a vehicle collision. The wrecker or towing
57	85		operator shall provide documentation of the claim to the insurer
58	86		prior to payment being made.
