65	65	An Act relating to absentee ballots; establishing
66	66	alternative procedures for execution of certain
67	67	absentee ballot affidavits; repealing Section 2,
68	68	Chapter 10, O.S.L. 2020 (26 O.S. Supp. 2020, Section
69	69	14-115.7), which relates to applicable procedure for
70	70	properly executing an absentee ballot affidavit;

77	77	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
78	78	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
79	79	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 115.8 of Title 26, unless there
80	80	is created a duplicatio n in numbering, reads as follows:
81	81	1. A voter who requests an absentee ballot pursuant to Section
82	82	14-105 of Title 26 of the Oklahoma Sta tutes may, in lieu of having
83	83	his or her signature notarized by a notary publi c as required by
84	84	Section 14-108 of Title 26 of the Oklahoma Statutes, sign the
85	85	absentee ballot affidavit and attach a photocopy of a form of
86	86	identification described in subsection A of Section 7-114 of Title
87	87	26 of the Oklahoma Statutes; or

139	139	2. A voter who requests an absentee ballot described pursu ant
140	140	to Section 14-110.1 or Section 14-114 of Title 26 of the Oklahoma
141	141	Statutes may, in lieu of having his or her signature witnessed by
142	142	two witnesses, sign the absentee ballot affidavit and include a
143	143	photocopy of a form of identification described in s ubsection A of
144	144	Section 7-114 of Title 26 of the Oklahom a Statutes.
145	145	SECTION 2. REPEALER Section 2, Chapter 10, O.S.L. 2020
146	146	(26 O.S. Supp. 2020, Section 14-115.7), is hereby repealed.
147	147	SECTION 3. This act shall become effe ctive November 1, 2021.
