79	79	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF O KLAHOMA:
80	80	SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 72 O.S. 2011, Sec tion 229, as
81	81	amended by Section 3, Chapter 100, O.S.L. 2018 (72 O.S. Supp. 20 20,
82	82	Section 229), is amended to read as follows:
83	83	Section 229. A. Until operations are transferred pursu ant to
84	84	subsection B of this section, ther e There is hereby established, in
85	85	addition to the Oklahoma Veterans Centers established by Sections
86	86	221 and 226 of this title, the Oklahoma Veterans Center at Talihina,
87	87	Oklahoma, on the site of the Oklahoma State Sa natorium, Talihina,
88	88	Oklahoma. All person s serving as employees of the Okl ahoma State
89	89	Sanatorium under the provisions of the State Merit System of

141	141	Personnel Administration shall continue to serve as employees of the
142	142	Oklahoma Veterans Center at Talihina ,; provided, that such employees
143	143	remain in the classified service. All employee s hired by the
144	144	Oklahoma Veterans Center at Talihina on or after the effective date
145	145	of this act June 4, 1975, shall be under the Oklahoma Merit System
146	146	of Personnel Administration, except one manage r, one principal
147	147	assistant or deputy, one private secretary, part -time physicians and
148	148	other professional personnel engaged in clinical and consultant
149	149	services. The average number of full -time-equivalent employees
150	150	utilized in the total operation of the Okla homa Veterans Center,
151	151	Talihina, shall not exceed one hundred fifty -three (153) during the
152	152	fiscal year ending June 30, 1976. The buildings, equipment and land
153	153	under the jurisdiction of the Oklahoma State Sanatorium, Talihina,
154	154	are hereby transferred to the Oklahoma Veterans Center, Talihina.
155	155	B. Operations of the Oklahoma Veteran s Center established
156	156	pursuant to this section shall continue until such time as
157	157	operations are transferred to the location identified pursuant to
158	158	the authority conferred upon the Okl ahoma Veterans Commission under
159	159	Section 2 of this act .
160	160	SECTION 2. REPEALER Section 2, Chapter 100, O.S.L. 2018,
161	161	as amended by Section 2, Chapter 502, O.S.L. 2019 (72 O.S. Supp.
162	162	2020, Section 229.1), is hereby repealed.
