SENATE BILL NO. 835 	By: Stephens and Bullard 
 
 
 
 
 
An Act relating to discrimination; prohibit ing 
certain discrimination by public accommodation on 
basis of vaccination or immunity status ; providing 
for codification; and declaring an emergency . 
 
 
 
 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: 
SECTION 1.     NEW LAW     A new section of law to be codified 
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1460 of Title 25, unless there 
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: 
No person shall be discriminated against on the basis of their 
vaccination or immunity status by any public accommodation by: 
1.  Providing any disposition, service, financial aid or benefit 
to an individual which is different, or is provided in a different 
manner, from that provided to other members of the general public; 
2.  Subjecting any individual to segregation or separate 
treatment in any matter related to that individual ’s receipt of any 
disposition, service, financial aid or benefit provided to other 
members of the general public; 
3.  Restricting an individual in any way in the enjoyment of any 
advantage or privilege enjoyed by others receiving any disposition,

service, financial aid or benefit provided to other members of the 
general public; 
4.  Treating an individual differently from others in 
determining whether that indi vidual satisfies any admission, 
enrollment, quota, eligibility, membership or other requirement or 
condition which individuals m ust meet in order to be provided any 
disposition, service, financial aid, function or benefit available 
to other members of the general public; or 
5.  Denying an individual an opportun ity to participate in a 
program through the provision of service or othe rwise afford that 
individual an opportunity to do so which is different from that 
afforded to other members of the general publi c. 
SECTION 2.  It being immediately nece ssary for the preservation 
of the public peace, health or safety, an eme rgency is hereby 
declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and 
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
