28	57		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

30	58		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY Section 3, Chapter 252, O.S.L.
31	59		2018 (63 O.S. Supp. 2020, Section 2 -1002), is amended to read as
32	60		follows:

34	61		Section 2-1002. A. The Opioid Overdose Fatality Review Board
35	62		shall be composed of twenty (20) twenty-two (22) members, or their
36	63		designees, as follows:

38	64		1. Ten Twelve of the members shall be:

75	113		2. Ten of the members shall be appointed by the Attorney
76	114		General, shall serve for te rms of two (2) years and shall be
77	115		eligible for reappointment. The members shall be persons having
78	116		training and experience in matters related to opioid abuse and
79	117		prevention. The appointed members shall include:

112	167		person who currently receives or formerly has been a

115	197		submitted by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health
116	198		and Substance Abuse Services, and

118	199		i. a member of the judiciary selected from a list of
119	200		three names submitted by the Oklahoma Supreme Cour t.

121	201		B. Every two (2) years the Board shall elect from among its
122	202		membership a chair and a vice -chair. The Board shall meet at least
123	203		quarterly and may meet more frequently as necessary as determined by
124	204		the chair. Members shall serve without compensation bu t may be
125	205		reimbursed for necessary travel out of funds available to the Office
126	206		of the Attorney General and the Department of Mental Health and
127	207		Substance Abuse Services , pursuant to the State Travel Reimbursement
128	208		Act; provided, that the reimbursement shall b e paid in the case of
129	209		state employee members by the agency employing the member.

131	210		C. With funds appropriated or otherwise available for that
132	211		purpose, the Office of the Attorney General, jointly with the

135	212		Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Servi ces, shall
136	213		provide administrative assistance and services to the Opioid
137	214		Overdose Fatality Review Board.

139	215		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2021.
