2857 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

3058 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY Section 3, Chapter 252, O.S.L.
3159 2018 (63 O.S. Supp. 2020, Section 2 -1002), is amended to read as

3461 Section 2-1002. A. The Opioid Overdose Fatality Review Board
3562 shall be composed of twenty (20) twenty-two (22) members, or their

114196 opioid use, selected from a list of three names
115197 submitted by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health
116198 and Substance Abuse Services, and

118199 i. a member of the judiciary selected from a list of
119200 three names submitted by the Oklahoma Supreme Cour t.

121201 B. Every two (2) years the Board shall elect from among its
122202 membership a chair and a vice -chair. The Board shall meet at least
123203 quarterly and may meet more frequently as necessary as determined by
124204 the chair. Members shall serve without compensation bu t may be
125205 reimbursed for necessary travel out of funds available to the Office
126206 of the Attorney General and the Department of Mental Health and
127207 Substance Abuse Services , pursuant to the State Travel Reimbursement
128208 Act; provided, that the reimbursement shall b e paid in the case of
129209 state employee members by the agency employing the member.

131210 C. With funds appropriated or otherwise available for that
132211 purpose, the Office of the Attorney General, jointly with the

135212 Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Servi ces, shall
136213 provide administrative assistance and services to the Opioid
137214 Overdose Fatality Review Board.

139215 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2021.
