77	77	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE OF REPR ESENTATIVES OF THE
78	78	2ND SESSION OF THE 58TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:
79	79	SECTION 1. The Secretary of State shall refer to the peo ple for
80	80	their approval or rejection, as and in the m anner provided by law,
81	81	the following proposed amendment to Section 30 of Article II of the
82	82	Oklahoma Constitution to read as follows:
83	83	Section 30. The right of the people to be secure in their
84	84	persons, houses, electronic data and electronic communications,
85	85	papers, and effects against unreasonable searches or seizures shall
86	86	not be violated; and no warrant shall issue but upo n probable cause
87	87	supported by oath or affirmation, describing as particularly as may
88	88	be the place to be searched and the person or thing to be seized.

145	145	THE GIST OF THE PROPOSITION IS AS FOLLOWS:
146	146	This measure amends Section 30 of Article 2 of the Oklahoma
147	147	Constitution. This section protects the rights of the people
148	148	against unreasonable searches and seizures. This measure would
149	149	add electronic data and communications to the list of items that
150	150	require a warrant based on probabl e cause to search for or seize
151	151	such items.

156	156	immediately after the passage of this resolution, pre pare and file

158	158	hereof, with the Secretary of St ate and one copy with the Attorney
