55	48		BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
56	49		2ND SESSION OF THE 58TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:
57	50		SECTION 1. The Secretary of State shall refer to the people for
58	51		their approval or rejection, as and in the manner provided by law,
59	52		the following proposed ame ndment to the Oklahoma Constitution by
60	53		adding a new Section 2A to Article II to read as follows:
61	54		Section 2A. Recognizing that abortion is a unique and
62	55		destructive act that terminates the life of an unborn human being,
63	56		nothing in this Constitution secures or protects a right to an
64	57		abortion.
	58	+	SECTION 2. The Ballot Title for the proposed Constitutional
	59	+	amendment as set forth in SECTION 1 of this resolution shall be in

97	89		THE GIST OF THE PROPOSITION IS AS FOLLOWS:
98	90		This measure adds a new Section 2A to Article 2 of the Oklahoma
99	91		Constitution. The proposed Section 2A recognizes that abortion
100	92		is a unique and destructive act that ends the life of an unborn
101	93		human being. The proposed Section 2A states that nothing in the
102	94		Oklahoma Constitution secures or pro tects a right to an
103	95		abortion.
