77	77	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE AND THE HOU SE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
78	78	2ND SESSION OF THE 58TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:
79	79	SECTION 1. The Secretary of State shall refer to the people for
80	80	their approval or rejection, as and in the manner provided by law,
81	81	the following proposed amendment to Section 1 of Article I of the
82	82	Oklahoma Constitution to read as follows:
83	83	Section 1. The State of Oklahoma is an inseparable a sovereign
84	84	state, a part of the Federal Un ion known as the United States of
85	85	America, and the Constitution of the United States is the supreme
86	86	law of the land and any laws to the contrary are null, void, and of
87	87	no effect in this state .

144	144	THE GIST OF THE PROPOSITIO N IS AS FOLLOWS:
145	145	This measure amends Section 1 of Article 1 of the Oklahoma
146	146	Constitution. This section declares the State of Oklahoma a
147	147	sovereign state and a part of the Federal Union with the United
148	148	States Constitution as the su preme law of the land. This
149	149	measure declares that any law to the contrary is null, vo id, and
150	150	of no effect in this state .

154	154	SECTION 3. The President Pro Tempore of the Senate shall,
155	155	immediately after the passage of th is resolution, prepare and file
156	156	one copy thereof, including the Ballot Title set forth in SECTION 2
157	157	hereof, with the Secretary of State and one copy with the Attorney
