An Act relating to the Department of Mental Health
and Substance Abuse Services ; requiring certain
transfer; providing an effective date; and declaring
an emergency.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF TH E STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. From the funds appropriated to the Department of
Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services in Enrolled House Bill
No. 1004 of the 1st Extraordinary Session of the 59th Oklahoma
Legislature, the Department of Mental Health and Substanc e Abuse
Services shall transfer Twelve Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($12,500,000.00) to the credit of the County Community Safet y
Investment Fund established in Section 2-312.1 of Title 43A of the
Oklahoma Statutes, which shall be distributed according to Section
2-312.4 of Title 43A of the Oklahoma Statutes.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2023.
SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereb y

declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage a nd approval.
