4040 An Act relating to criminal procedure; requ iring

5050 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5151 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5252 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Sect ion 212 of Title 22, unless there is
5353 created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5454 Prior to any raid or warrantless arrest of a citizen of the
5555 State of Oklahoma by a special agent of the Federal Bureau of
5656 Investigation, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobac co, Firearms and
5757 Explosives, the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement ,
5858 or the Internal Revenue Service, the special agent shall be required
5959 to make contact with the sheriff of the county in which the raid or
6060 warrantless arrest shall be executed and inform the county sheriff
6161 of the approximate date, time, and circumstances of said raid or
6262 warrantless arrest.
