An Act relating to retirement; enacting the Oklahoma
Firefighters Pension and Retirement System Act o f
2023; providing for noncodificatio n; and providing an
effective date.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF T HE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
This act shall be known and m ay be cited as the "Oklahoma
Firefighters Pension and Retirement System Act of 2023 ".
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
