AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to open meetings; amending 25 O.S.
2021, Section 303, which relates to open meeting
notices; directing for all public notices of meetings
to be posted to the website of the Oklahoma Secretary
of State; providing cer tain document requirements;
mandating that additions and corrections be posted in
a subsequent document.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF O KLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 25 O.S. 2021, Section 303, is
amended to read as follows:
Section 303. All meetings of public bodies, as defined
hereinafter, shall be held at specified times and places which are
convenient to the public and shall be open to the public, except as
hereinafter specifically provided . All meetings of such public
bodies, except for executive sessions of the State Banking Board and
Oklahoma Savings and Loan Board, shall be preceded by advance public
notice, posted to the Oklahoma Secretary of State website as a PDF
document, specifying the time and place of each such meeting to be
convened as well as the subject matter or matters to be considered

at such meeting, as hereinafter provided. The original meeting
notice document shall remain available and unedited. Any additions
or corrections to the meeting notice shall be posted in a subsequent
PDF document.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
