4958 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5059 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5160 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1011.20 of Title 56, unless
5261 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5362 A. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority shall seek waivers, and
5463 other federal approvals, that modify the state plan to allow
5564 Medicaid coverage of women for twelve (12) months after the end of a
5665 pregnancy.
57-B. If either a woman for the duration of her pregnancy and for
58-the postpartum period consisting of the twelve-month period
59-beginning on the last day of her pregnancy , or a child under one (1)
60-year of age, is living in a family that has an income that is at or

93+B. If either a woman for the duration of her pregnancy and for

95+beginning on the last day of her pregnancy , or a child under one (1)
96+year of age, is living in a family that has an income that is at or
8797 below two hundred five percent (205%) of the most current federal
8898 poverty level, such individual is automatically qualified for
8999 Medicaid eligibility.
90100 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
