| 48 | 48 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: | |
| 49 | 49 | SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified | |
| 50 | 50 | in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 158.71 of Title 17, unless there | |
| 51 | 51 | is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: | |
| 52 | 52 | Public utilities subject to regulation by the Corporation | |
| 53 | 53 | Commission shall submit annual emergency update plans and | |
| 54 | 54 | maintenance plans for the following calendar year to the Commission | |
| 55 | 55 | no later than December 1 each calendar year. Public utilities shall | |
| 56 | 56 | have an annual emergency update plan and maintenance plan on file | |
| 57 | 57 | with the Commission for any given calendar year prior to a requested | |
| 58 | 58 | and approved rate increase becoming effective in that year. | |
| 59 | 59 | SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023. | |
