43	43	alternative court programs; placing alternative court
44	44	programs under the supervision and control of the
45	45	Administrative Office of the Courts; stating
46	46	requirements of consolidation; providing time
47	47	limitation; requiring collaboration with certain
48	48	state agencies, entities and program providers;

50	50	codification; and providing an effective date.

56	56	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
57	57	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
58	58	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 3001 of Title 22, unless there
59	59	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
60	60	A. Upon the effective date of this act, the Administrative
61	61	Office of the Courts shall create and implement a plan to
62	62	consolidate all alternative court programs in the State of Oklahoma
63	63	including, but not limited to, d rug courts as authorized pursuant to
64	64	the Oklahoma Drug Court Act, mental health courts as authorized
65	65	pursuant to the Anna McBride Act, and domestic violence courts as

92	92	authorized pursuant to Section 61 of Title 22 of the Oklahoma
93	93	Statutes. The alternative court programs shall be placed under the
94	94	supervision and control of the Administrative Office of the Courts .
95	95	B. The alternative court structure within the Administrative
96	96	Office of the Courts shall be organized in a manner that, among
97	97	other things, provides for centralized services and combines the
98	98	administrative functions of the various alternative court programs
99	99	in order to increase efficiencies and eliminate the duplication and
100	100	overlapping of said functions.
101	101	C. The Administrative Office of the Courts shall have three (3)
102	102	years from the effective date of this act to implement and establish
103	103	the new organizational structure within the Administrative Office of
104	104	the Courts.
105	105	D. The Administrative Office of the Courts shall collaborate
106	106	with the District Attorneys Council, the various alternative court
107	107	programs, program providers, and any other state agencies deemed
108	108	necessary to implement the provisions of this act.
109	109	E. The Administrative Director of the Courts shall prepare
110	110	annually and distribute to the chair of the Criminal Justice and
111	111	Corrections Committee of the Oklahoma House of Represen tative and
112	112	the chair of the Judiciary committee of the Oklahoma State Senate a
113	113	report detailing the status of the consolidation, and the
114	114	administrative costs, if any, required to administer and fully
115	115	implement the provisions of this act.
