| 50 | 50 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: |

| 51 | 51 | | SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 19 O.S. 2 021, Section 516, is |

| 53 | 53 | | Section 516. A. It shall be the duty of the sheriff, |

| 54 | 54 | | undersheriffs and deputies to keep and preserve the peace of their |
|---|
| 55 | 55 | | respective counties, and to quiet and suppress all affrays, riots |
|---|
| 56 | 56 | | and unlawful assemblies and insurrections, for which purpose and for |
|---|
| 57 | 57 | | the service of process in civil and criminal cases, and in |
|---|
| 58 | 58 | | apprehending or securing any person for felony or breach of the |
|---|
| 59 | 59 | | peace, they and every constable may call to their aid such person or |
|---|
| 60 | 60 | | persons of their county as they may deem necessary. |
