22	55		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

24	56		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 59 O.S. 2021, Section 1253, is
25	57		amended to read as follows:

27	58		Section 1253. A. There is hereby re-created, to continue until
28	59		July 1, 2023 2025, in accordance with the provisions of the Oklahoma
29	60		Sunset Law, the State Board of Licensed Social Workers, consisting
30	61		of seven (7) members.

32	62		B. Three of the members of the Board shall be licensed social
33	63		workers or licensed clinic al social workers licensed pursuant to the
34	64		provisions of the Social Worker 's Licensing Act. Two other members
35	65		shall be licensed as either social work associates or master 's

36	93		social workers. One member shall be the president of the Oklahoma
37	94		Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. The
38	95		remaining member of the Board shall be selected from and shall
39	96		represent the general public.

41	97		C. Responsibility for enforcement of the provisions of this act
42	98		is hereby vested in the State Board of Social Work. The Board shall
43	99		have all of the duties, powers and authority specifically granted
44	100		by, or necessary for, the enforceme nt of this act as well as other
45	101		duties, powers and authority it may be grante d by applicable law.

47	102		D. 1. Each member of the Board appointe d as a social worker
48	103		shall:

50	104		a. be a resident of this state,
51		-
52	105		b. be licensed in good standing to engage in the practice
53	106		of social work in this state,
54		-
55	107		c. at the time of appointment, have been activ ely engaged
56	108		in the practice of social work for at least one (1 )
57	109		year out of the last five (5) years, and
58		-
59	110		d. have at least three (3) years of experience in the
60	111		practice of social w ork.

62	112		2. Each member of the Board appointed to represent the general
63	113		public shall be a resident of this state who has attained the age of
64	114		majority and shall not be, nor shall ever have been, a social work
65	115		licensee, or the spouse of a social work licensee, or a person who
66	116		has ever had any material financial interest in the provision of
