45	75		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOM A:
46	76		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
47	77		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1692.10 of Title 21, unless
48	78		there is created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows:
49	79		The majority of the voters of a county, voting at an election to
50	80		be held for such purpose, may approve reducing violations of
51	81		Sections 1692.2, 1692.3, 1692.4, and 1692.5 of Title 2 1 of the
52	82		Oklahoma Statutes to misdemeanor offenses. An election shall be
53	83		called upon the filing of a petition with the county election board
54	84		containing not less than five percent (5%) of the number of voters
55	85		that voted in the most recent gubernatorial election in that county,
56	86		or by a simple majori ty vote of the county commissioners in that
