| 230 | 230 | | Decennial Census, all boundaries of board districts |

| 231 | 231 | | shall follow clearly visible , definable, and |
|---|
| 232 | 232 | | observable physical boundaries which are based upon |
|---|
| 233 | 233 | | criteria established a nd recognized by the Bureau of |
|---|
| 234 | 234 | | the Census of the United S tates Department of Commerce |
|---|
| 235 | 235 | | for purposes of defining census blocks for its |
|---|
| 236 | 236 | | decennial census and shall follo w, as much as is |
|---|
| 237 | 237 | | possible, precinct boundaries. Board districts shall |
|---|
| 238 | 238 | | be compact, contiguo us and shall be as equal in |
|---|
| 239 | 239 | | population as practical with not more than a ten |

| 977 | 977 | | SECTION 3. This act shall become effective July 1, 2023. |

| 979 | 979 | | of the public peace, health, or safety, an emergency is hereby |
|---|
| 980 | 980 | | declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and |
