6565 An Act relating to voter registration; amending

7777 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
7878 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY Section 1, Chapter 233, O.S.L.
7979 2022 (26 O.S. Supp. 2022, Section 4 -120.11), is amended to read as
8080 follows:
8181 Section 4-120.11. A. No later than June 1 of each year, the
8282 State Election Board shall perform a query of the entire voter
8383 registration database to determine how many individuals are
8484 registered at the same residential address.
8585 B. If more than ten eight registered voters share a single
8686 residential address, the State Election B oard shall provide a list
8787 of said voters to the secretary of the county election board, who
8888 shall immediately notify the district attorney for that county.

140140 C. Upon receipt of such notif ication, the district attorney, or
141141 a member of law enforcement designated by th e district attorney,
142142 shall investigate any possible criminal violation of the law related
143143 to the voter registration.
144144 D. Provided, this section shall not apply to registered voters
145145 sharing a residential address at a facility licensed or certified by
146146 this state, if required by law, such as an assisted living facility,
147147 residential care facility, nursing home, veterans center , medical
148148 facility, multiunit housing, installations of th e Armed Forces of
149149 the United States where uniformed or overseas voters, as defi ned by
150150 the Uniformed and Overseas Citi zens Absentee Voting Act, are
151151 stationed, or other locations authorized in writing by the Secretary
152152 of the State Election Board.
153153 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
