75	75	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
76	76	SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 26 O.S. 2 021, Section 10-101, is
77	77	amended to read as follows :
78	78	Section 10-101. A. The nominees for Presidential Electors of
79	79	any recognized political party shall be selected at a convention of
80	80	the party in a manner to be determined by the party.
81	81	B. The nominees for Presidential Electors shall be certified by
82	82	the chair of the party to the Secretary of the State Election Board
83	83	no later than July 15 of a presidential election year.
84	84	C. Failure of a political party to properly certify the names
85	85	of its nominees for Presi dential Electors within the time specified
86	86	shall bar such party from placing any candidates for Presidential
87	87	Electors on the ballot at the General Elect ion.

139	139	D. 1. A recognized political party shall certify its nominees
140	140	for President of the United States and Vice President of the United
141	141	States to the Secretary of the State Election Board no later than
142	142	seventy-five (75) days prior to the date of the Gener al Election to
143	143	ensure the State Election Board and the county election boards have
144	144	sufficient time to me et the deadline for sending absentee ballots to
145	145	uniformed services voters pursuant to federal and state law. A
146	146	recognized political party shall not nom inate any person for
147	147	President of the United States or Vice President o f the United
148	148	States who is not a natural born citizen as required by Section 1 of
149	149	Article 2 of the Constitution of the United States. For purposes of
150	150	this title, a person born w ithin the lands, property and territories
151	151	subject to the juris diction of the United States whose parents were
152	152	not citizens of the United States at the time of bi rth of such
153	153	person shall not be considered a natural born citizen and shal l be
154	154	ineligible to be the nominee of a recognized political party for
155	155	President of the United State s or Vice President of the United
156	156	States.
157	157	2. If the nominating convention of a rec ognized political party
158	158	is scheduled to conclude after the deadline provided in paragraph 1
159	159	of this subsection, the Secretary may accept a provisional
160	160	certification of the party ’s nominees for President and Vice
161	161	President of the United States. A provision al certification must be
162	162	received by the Secretary prior to the deadline, and the party shall

216	216	SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
217	217	of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
218	218	declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
