7979 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
8080 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma
8181 Department of Commerce from any monies not otherwise appropriated
8282 from the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasu ry for the fiscal
8383 year ending June 30, 2024, th e sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars
8484 ($100,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to perform the
8585 duties imposed upon the Oklahoma Department of Commerce by law.
8686 SECTION 2. Appropriations made by this act, not including
8787 appropriations made for capital outlay purposes, may be budge ted for
8888 the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024 (hereafter FY -24), or may be
8989 budgeted for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025 (hereafter F Y-25).

141141 Funds budgeted for FY -24 may be encumbered only through June 3 0,
142142 2024, and must be expended by November 15, 2024 . Any funds
143143 remaining after November 15, 2024, and not budgeted for FY -25, shall
144144 lapse to the credit of the proper fund for the then cu rrent fiscal
145145 year. Funds budgeted for FY-25 may be encumbered only th rough June
146146 30, 2025. Any funds remaining after No vember 15, 2025, shall lapse
147147 to the credit of the proper fund for the then current fiscal year.
148148 These appropriations may not be budgete d in both fiscal years
149149 simultaneously. Funds budgeted in FY -24 and not required to pay
150150 obligations for that fiscal year , may be budgeted for FY -25, after
151151 the agency to which the funds have been appropriated has prepared
152152 and submitted a budget work program revision removing these funds
153153 from the FY-24 budget work program and after such revision has been
154154 approved by the Offic e of Management and Enterprise Services.
155155 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
156156 of the public peace, health or safety, an emerg ency is hereby
157157 declared to exist, by r eason whereof this act shall take effect and
158158 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
