7575 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
7676 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 59 O.S. 2021, Section 353.30, is
7777 amended to read as follows:
7878 Section 353.30. A. The use of collaborative practice
7979 agreements in the practice of pharmacy shall be acceptable permitted
8080 within the rules promulgated by the State B oard of Pharmacy under
8181 subsection C of this section and in consultation with the State
8282 Board of Medical Licensure and S upervision and the State Board of
8383 Osteopathic Examiners .
8484 B. The Board shall develop and prepare permanent rules relating
8585 to training requirements and administration of immunizations an d
8686 therapeutic injections in consultation within the State Board of

138138 Medical Licensure and Supervision and the State Board of Osteopathic
139139 Examiners.
140140 C. A pharmacist who has completed a requisite course of
141141 training as approved by the Board in consultation with the State
142142 Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision and the State B oard of
143143 Osteopathic Examiners may administer:
144144 1. Administer therapeutic injections on orders from a licensed
145145 prescriber, and may adminis ter immunizations that have been approved
146146 or authorized by the Food an d Drug Administration without a patient -
147147 specific prescription, standing order or similar arrangement ;
148148 2. Prescribe and dispense oral preventive contraceptive drugs
149149 under a collaborative practice agreement with a n allopathic
150150 physician or osteopathic physician in accordance with the rules
151151 promulgated by the Boa rd under subsection C of this section; and
152152 3. Administer preventive contrac eptive injections under a
153153 collaborative practice agreem ent with an allopathic physician or
154154 osteopathic physician in accordance with the rules promulgated by
155155 the Board under subsection C of this section.
156156 C. The Board shall, in consultation with the State Board of
157157 Medical Licensure and Supervision and the State Board of Osteopathic
158158 Examiners, promulgate rules to implement the provisions of this
159159 section. Such rules shall include, but not be limited to, training
160160 requirements pertaining to the services described i n subsection B of
161161 this section.
