79	79	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
80	80	SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 11 O.S. 2021, Section 56 -102, is
81	81	amended to read as follows:
82	82	Section 56-102. A. Definitions of terms used in the Municipal
83	83	Campaign Finance and Financial Disclosure Act shall be the same as
84	84	those terms are defined in Rules of t he Ethics Commission
85	85	promulgated pursuant to Section 3 of Articl e XXIX of the Oklahoma
86	86	Constitution, unless otherwi se provided herein.
87	87	B. As used in the Municipal Campaign Finance and Financial

141	141	of one or more persons the purpose of which is to support the
142	142	election of a specific candidate to municipal office, whose name as
143	143	it will appear on the ballot shall appear in the name of the
144	144	committee;
145	145	2. “Municipal office” means any elective municipal offic e
146	146	established under state or municipal la w; and
147	147	3. “Municipal political committee ” means any committee, other
148	148	than a campaign committee, composed of one or more pers ons whose
149	149	purpose includes the election or defeat of one or more ca ndidates
150	150	for municipal office or one or more questions submitted to a vote of
151	151	the people at a municipal election , but which is not required to
152	152	register with the Ethics Commission or the Federal El ection
153	153	Commission.
154	154	SECTION 2. AMENDATORY 19 O.S. 2021, Section 138.12, is
155	155	amended to read as follo ws:
156	156	Section 138.12. A. Definitions of terms used in the County
157	157	Campaign Finance and Financial Disclosure Act shall be the same as
158	158	those terms are defined in Rules of the Ethics Commission

225	225	office or one or more questions submitted to a vote of the peop le at

227	227	Ethics Commission or the Federal Election Commission.
228	228	SECTION 3. AMENDATORY 70 O.S. 2021, Section 2 -111, is
229	229	amended to read as follows:
230	230	Section 2-111. A. Definitions of terms used in the Technology
231	231	Center District and Independent School District Campaign Finance and
232	232	Financial Disclosure Act shall be the same as those terms are
233	233	defined in Rules of the Ethics Com mission promulgated pursuant to
234	234	Section 3 of Article XXIX of the Oklahoma Constitution, unless
235	235	otherwise provided herein.

302	302	whose purpose includes the election or defeat of one or more
303	303	candidates for school district office or one or more questions
304	304	submitted to a vote of the peop le at a school district election, but
305	305	which is not required to register with the Ethics Commission or the
306	306	Federal Election Commission.
307	307	SECTION 4. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
