77	77	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
78	78	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
79	79	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 2006 of Title 25, unless there
80	80	is created a duplication in num bering, reads as follows:
81	81	A. This section shall be known and may be cited as the
82	82	“Parental Rights Immunization Act ”.
83	83	B. Each health care provider who administers a vaccine set
84	84	forth in the Vaccine Injury Table, as established by the United
85	85	States Department of Health and Human Services, sha ll obtain
86	86	informed consent from the legal representa tive or other adult
87	87	authorized by law to consent on behalf of a minor to whom such
88	88	provider intends to administer such vaccine. Prior to administering

140	140	the vaccine, the health care provider shall provide relevant
141	141	information regarding benefits and risks of the vaccine as well as
142	142	information concerning the National Vac cine Injury Compensation
143	143	Program.
144	144	C. Providing a copy of the Vaccine Information Statement, the
145	145	source of which is clearly identified, and m aking available for
146	146	review the Centers for Disease C ontrol and Prevention ’s
147	147	“Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine -Preventable Diseases:
148	148	Vaccine Excipient and Media Summary ”, the Centers for Disease
149	149	Control and Preventi on’s Vaccine Injury Table or the Ce nters for
150	150	Disease Control and Prevention’s contraindications and precautions
151	151	or any combination of these three resourc es to the legal
152	152	representative or other adult authorized by law to consent on behalf
153	153	of a minor shall constitute a minimum standard of rel evant
154	154	information.
155	155	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 20 23.
