65	65	An Act relating to public employees; prohibiting
66	66	certain work stoppage ; stating consequences for
67	67	violation; protecting certain right of i ndividual;
68	68	providing for codification ; and providing an

75	75	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
76	76	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
77	77	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 847 of Title 74, unless there is
78	78	created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows:
79	79	A. Public employees shall not strike or engag e in an organized
80	80	work stoppage against the state or any political subdivision of this
81	81	state.
82	82	B. A public employee who violates subsection A of this act
83	83	automatically forfeits his or her employment with the state or
84	84	political subdivision, all civil service rights , pensions,
85	85	reemployment rights, and benefits, as a result o f public employment.

137	137	C. A public employee who is emplo yed as a teacher or
138	138	administrator and violates subsection A of this act shall have his
139	139	or her state teaching certificates revoked.
140	140	D. The right of an individual to cease work m ay not be abridged
141	141	if the individual is not acting in concert with others in an
142	142	organized work stoppage.
143	143	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
