106 | 94 | degree program leading to a standard teaching certificate; and | |
107 | 95 | 4. Execute an agreement pursuant to subsection C of this | |

109 | 97 | C. An individual who meets the eligibility criteria set forth | |
110 | 98 | in subsection B of this section shall execut e an agreement stating | |
111 | 99 | that he or she shall: | |
112 | 100 | 1. Agree to earn a bachelor’s degree from an approved Oklahoma | |
113 | 101 | teacher preparation degree program leading to a standard teaching | |
114 | 102 | certificate; | |
115 | 103 | 2. Agree to meet the requirements of Section 6 -187 of Title 70 | |
116 | 104 | of the Oklahoma Statutes to earn a standard teaching certificate ; | |
117 | 105 | and | |
106 | + | 3. Agree to teach in a school district in this state that is | |

157 | 146 | bachelor’s degree or taken more than five (5) years after the | |
158 | 147 | individual’s first semester of enrollment in an institution o f | |
159 | 148 | higher education within The Oklahoma State System of Higher | |
160 | 149 | Education. | |
161 | 150 | 2. Assistance provided pursuant to this subsection shall be | |
162 | 151 | allocated to the institution of higher education from the Oklahoma | |
163 | 152 | Teacher Corps Revolving Fund created pursuant to Section 2 of this | |
164 | 153 | act. | |
165 | 154 | E. To retain eligibility fo r the Oklahoma Teacher Corps | |
166 | 155 | Program, an eligible individual shall: | |
156 | + | 1. Maintain good academic standing and s atisfactory academic | |
157 | + | progress while enrolled in an institutio n of higher education | |
158 | + | according to the institution’s standards; and | |

207 | 197 | G. An individual who has received Okl ahoma Teacher Corps | |
208 | 198 | Program assistance pursuant to this section and who fails to comply | |
209 | 199 | with the agreement execut ed pursuant to subsection C of this section | |
210 | 200 | shall be required to repay an amount to be calculated as follows: | |
211 | 201 | 1. Determine the total amount of assistance provided pursuant | |
212 | 202 | to the provisions of this section; | |
213 | 203 | 2. Divide the amount determined in paragraph 1 of this | |
214 | 204 | subsection by twelve (12); and | |
215 | 205 | 3. Multiply the amount determined in paragraph 2 of this | |
216 | 206 | subsection by the number of months the individual did not fulfill | |
207 | + | the requirements of the agreem ent executed pursuant to subsection C | |

260 | 251 | continuing fund, not subject to fiscal year limitations, and shall | |
261 | 252 | consist of all monies received by the Oklahoma State Regents for | |
262 | 253 | Higher Education from state appropriations . All monies accruing to | |
263 | 254 | the credit of the fund are hereby appropriated and may be budgeted | |
264 | 255 | and expended by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education for | |
265 | 256 | the purpose of implement the provisions of the Oklahoma Teach er | |
266 | 257 | Corps Program created pursuant to Section 1 of this act . | |
