65	65	An Act relating to municipalities; requiring certain
66	66	officials be elected by register ed voters; providing
67	67	for codification; and providing an effective date.

73	73	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
74	74	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
75	75	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 16-115 of Title 11, unless there
76	76	is created a duplicat ion in numbering, reads as follows:
77	77	In municipalities with a population of two hundred fifty
78	78	thousand (250,000) or more per the last Federal Decennial Census ,
79	79	all municipal prosecutors and judges shall be elected pursuant to
80	80	Section 16-104 of Title 11 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
81	81	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective Nov ember 1, 2023.
