191 | 322 | 18. 20. “Direct supervision” means the supervisory dentist is | |
192 | 323 | in the dental office or treatment facility and, during the | |
193 | 324 | appointment, personally examines the patient, diagnoses any | |
194 | 325 | conditions to be treated, and authorizes the procedu res to be | |
195 | 326 | performed by a dental hygienist, dental assistant, or oral | |
196 | 327 | maxillofacial surgery assistant. The supervising dentist is | |
197 | 328 | continuously on-site and physically present in the dental office or | |
198 | 329 | treatment facility while the procedures are being performe d and, | |
199 | 330 | before dismissal of the patient, evaluates the results of the dental | |

280 | 477 | States Internal Revenue Code, the church or religious org anization | |
281 | 478 | with which it is affiliated is clearly indicated on the exterior of | |
282 | 479 | the mobile dental facility, and such facility does not receive any | |
283 | 480 | form of payment either directly or indirectly for work provided to | |
284 | 481 | patients other than donations through the af filiated church or | |
285 | 482 | religious organization; provided, that the volunteer mobile dental | |
286 | 483 | facility shall be exempt from any registration fee required under | |
287 | 484 | the State Dental Act; | |
