SENATE BILL 915 By: Jett
AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to the state Medicaid program;
directing Oklahoma Health Care Authority to submit
certain State Plan amendment; authorizing
promulgation of rules; providing for codification;
and providing an effective da te.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5028.2 of Title 63, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
A. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority shall sub mit a Medicaid
State Plan amendment to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid
Services to provide Medicaid eligibility to:
1. Veterans with a one-hundred-percent Permanent & Total
disability rating from the United States Department of Veterans
Affairs, regardless of w hether the veteran meets the criteria for or
has sought:
a. a disability determination from the Social Security
Administration, or

b. coverage under the disab led category of the state
Medicaid program; and
2. Veterans who receive Individual Unemployability benefits
from the United States Dep artment of Veterans Affairs.
B. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority Board may promulgate
rules as necessary to prov ide for the implementation of this
section.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
