43	65		An Act relating to schools; amending 70 O.S. 2021,
44	66		Section 14-108.2, which relates to a gricultural
45	67		education programs; modifying grade lev els for which
46	68		programs are to be designed; providing an effective
47	69		date; and declaring an emergency .

53	75		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
54	76		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 70 O.S. 2021, Section 14 -108.2, is
55	77		amended to read as follows:
56	78		Section 14-108.2. A. Agricultural education programs are
57	79		designed for junior high and high school grades eight seven through
58	80		twelve, and shall be provided by comprehensive school di stricts.
59	81		Technology center school districts shal l be prohibited from
60	82		operating agricultural education programs or FFA chapters in any
61	83		location.
62	84		B. Each student enrolled in an agricultural education program
63	85		shall participate in a supervised agricultural e xperience project.

	87	+	the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education, the

91		-	C. For each agricultural education program which is funded by
92		-	the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education, the
93	139		local school district shall provide transportation services for
94	140		agricultural-education-program- and FFA-program-related duties and
95	141		activities.
96	142		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2023.
97	143		SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
98	144		of the public peace, health , or safety, an emergency is hereby
99	145		declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and
100	146		be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
