5050 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5151 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 26 O.S. 2021, Section 1 -102, is
5252 amended to read as follows:
5353 Section 1-102. A. A Primary Election shall be held on the last
5454 Tuesday in June of each even -numbered year, at which time each
5555 political party recognized by the laws of Oklahoma shall nominate
5656 its candidates for the offices to be fi lled at the next succeeding
5757 General Election, unless otherwise provided by law. No candidate 's
5858 name shall be printed upon the General Election ballot unless such
5959 candidate shall have been nominated as herein provided, unless
6060 otherwise provided by law; pro vided further that this provision
6161 shall not exclude the right of a nonpartisan candidate to have his
6262 or her the name of the candidate printed upon the General Election

9191 preceding the date of any such primary election.
9292 B. If a political party has two nominees for office and no
9393 other political party has a nominee for the office, in lieu of a
9494 Primary Election, the nominees shall b e placed on the official
9595 ballot as candidates for the office at the General Election.
9696 C. If a political party has more than two nominees for office
9797 and no other political party has a nominee for the office, the two
9898 nominees receiving the highest number of votes at the Primary
9999 Election shall be placed on the official ballot as candidates for
100100 the office at the General Election, regardless of whether any
101101 nominee received a majority of all votes cast for the office.
102102 SECTION 2. AMENDATORY 26 O.S. 2021, Section 1 -103, is

104104 Section 1-103. If Except as otherwise provided by subsection C
105105 of Section 1-102 of this title, if at any Primary Election no
106106 candidate for the nomination for office of any political party
107107 receives a majority of all votes cast for all candidates of such
108108 party for the office, no candidate shall be nominated by such party
109109 for the office, but the two candidates receiving the highest number
110110 of votes at such election shall be placed on the official ballot as
111111 candidates for such nomination at a Runoff Primary Election to be
