50	55		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
51	56		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
52	57		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 2-6-404 of Title 27A, unless
53	58		there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
54	59		Following the approval of an application for the construction of
55	60		any new wastewater treatment plant by a municipalit y, county or
56	61		water district, any new rules or regulations promulgated by the
57	62		Department of Environmental Quality regarding construction
58	63		requirements for waste water treatment plants shall not apply to the
59	64		new wastewater treatment plant until after the expir ation of a term
60	65		of fifteen (15) years. Following the expiration of the term of
61		-	fifteen (15) years, the operator shall be required to update the

90	96		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
