40	40	An Act relating to landlord and tenant; providing
41	41	requirements for eviction notices; providing for
42	42	codification; and providing an effectiv e date.

48	48	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
49	49	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
50	50	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 140 of Title 41, unless there is
51	51	created a duplication in numbering , reads as follows:
52	52	All notices to quit possession or to terminate a lease, also
53	53	known as an eviction notice, must comply with the following
54	54	requirements:
55	55	1. The date and time at which the tenancy will terminate;
56	56	2. The legal reason for the eviction base d upon Oklahoma law
57	57	with reference to the specific statute ;
58	58	3. If and how the eviction is curable prior to termination of
59	59	the tenancy;
60	60	4. The name and contact information for both the landlord and
61	61	the tenant;
