| 48 | 48 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: | |
| 49 | 49 | SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 19 O.S. 2021, Section 180.61, is | |
| 50 | 50 | amended to read as follows: | |
| 51 | 51 | Section 180.61 For purposes of fixing salaries under this act, | |
| 52 | 52 | county officers shall be grouped in the following classifications: | |
| 53 | 53 | 1. Enforcement officers or those charged with enforcing the | |
| 54 | 54 | laws relating to public peace and safe ty: the county sheriff, the | |
| 55 | 55 | county treasurer, the county clerk, the court clerk, the county | |
| 56 | 56 | assessor, and the members of the board of county commissioners; and | |
| 57 | 57 | 2. Other elective county officers. | |
| 58 | 58 | SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023. | |
