54	54	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
55	55	SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 68 O.S. 20 21, Section 114, is
56	56	amended to read as follo ws:
57	57	Section 114. The Oklahoma Tax Commission may expend monies to
58	58	pay membership fees for Commission members or employees of the
59	59	Commission in regional or national tax associations or dues for
60	60	membership in professional organizations for Commission member s or
61	61	employees of the Commission who are certified public accountants or
62	62	licensed attorneys as the Commission deems i n the best interest of
63	63	this state for education and training in tax administration,

91	91	an employee in the performance of his official duties.
92	92	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2023.
93	93	SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the pr eservation
94	94	of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
95	95	declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effe ct and
96	96	be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
