48	53		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
49	54		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 26 O.S. 2021, Section 7-136, is
50	55		amended to read as follows:
51	56		Section 7-136. A. The county election board shall convene at
52	57		the county courthouse, or at such other place as the county election
53	58		board may designate on the day of each election , for the purpose of
54	59		receiving the official precinct returns and shall remain in session
55	60		until such precinct returns are all delivered. The board shall
56	61		cause to be continuously accumulated and listed the results of such
57	62		election, as the official precinct returns are received, in a manner
58	63		and upon forms prescribed by the Secretary of the State Election
59	64		Board.

	92	+	B. The county election board shall use such precinct returns to
	93	+	certify the results of such election for county officers and
88	94		questions and shall transmit electronically or in writing as
89	95		prescribed by the Secretary of the State Election Board after 5 p.m.
90	96		on Friday following the election to the State Election Board the
91	97		completed county returns for all state officers and questions. Such
92	98		county returns shall be prima facie evidence of the correct ness of
93	99		the result in the several counties.
94	100		C. The State Election Board shall use such county returns to
95	101		certify the results of such election for all state officers and
96	102		questions after 5 p.m. on Tu esday next succeeding the election.
97	103		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
