4755 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE ST ATE OF OKLAHOMA:
4856 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 47 O.S. 2021, Section 6 -122, as
4957 amended by Section 62, Chapter 282, O.S.L. 2022 (47 O.S. Supp. 2023,
5058 Section 6-122), is amended to read as follows:
5159 Section 6-122. Service Oklahoma may develop procedures whereby
5260 driver licenses issued under the provisions of Section 6-101 et seq.
5361 of this title may be renewed or replaced by the applicant by mail or
5462 online except for licenses to be renewed or replaced by aliens as
5563 prescribed by subsection E of Section 6-115 of this title. The
5664 online driver license renewal system shall include a step where the
5765 person renewing shall select any licensed operator in the state to
58-complete the processing of their driver license renewal. Following
59-selection by a person renewing, the licensed operator shall be sent

93+complete the processing of their driver license renewal. Following
94+selection by a person renewing, the licensed operator shall be sent
8695 notification of the pending web transaction . Any license issued
8796 pursuant to this section shall be valid for a pe riod as prescribed
8897 in Section 6-115 of this title. Service Oklahoma shall not renew or
8998 replace a license by mail or online unle ss the immediately preceding
9099 issuance, renewal or replacement was done in person by the
91100 applicant.
92101 Provided, any person or the spouse or dependent of a person:
93102 1. Who is on active duty with the Armed Forces of the United
94103 States; or
95104 2. Who is currently employed as a civilian contractor with the
96105 Armed Forces of the United States,
97106 living outside of Oklahoma and ha ving a valid Class D driver license
98107 issued by the State of Oklahoma, requiring no material change, may
99108 apply for no more than three consecutive renewals or replacement of
100109 such license by mail or online, in accordance with Service Oklahoma
101110 rules. A fourth consecutive renewal or replacement must be done in
102111 person.
103112 SECTION 2. This act shall become effec tive November 1, 2024.
