60 | 82 | SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified | |
61 | 83 | in the Oklahoma Statut es as Section 1201 of Title 60, unless there | |
62 | 84 | is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: | |

65 | 87 | family dwelling neighborhoods, as well as townhouse neighborhoods, | |

97 | 143 | device prior to November 1, 2024; | |
98 | 144 | 2. Any condominium or apartment develo pment; | |
99 | 145 | 3. Any commercial property that does not contain one and two - | |
100 | 146 | family dwellings or townhouses ; | |
101 | 147 | 4. Any one or two-family dwelling neighborhood or any | |
102 | 148 | townhouse neighborhood in which the developer or the majority of the | |
103 | 149 | residents have elected to i nstall centralized mail delivery ; | |
104 | 150 | provided, however, delivery to residents within the neighborhood | |
105 | 151 | shall not be withheld prior to or in the absence of such an | |
106 | 152 | election. | |
107 | 153 | Unless there exists an active owner's association whereby | |
108 | 154 | members will vote pursuant to this paragraph, only one resident of | |
109 | 155 | each dwelling, acting on behalf of any other residents of the | |
110 | 156 | dwelling, may cast a vote in any election under this paragraph; and | |
111 | 157 | 5. Any installation by the United States Postal Service . | |
112 | 158 | C. Where installation is not proh ibited under this section or | |
113 | 159 | any other law, centralized mail delivery devices, not exceeding | |
114 | 160 | sixty-two (62) inches in height, may be located within any county, | |
115 | 161 | municipal right-of-way, or easement if doing so allows for the safe, | |
116 | 162 | convenient accessibility of the centralized mail delivery devices, | |
163 | + | provided that the local or municipal government approves the | |
164 | + | location of each installation within its right -of-way or easement. | |
