79	79	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
80	80	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section o f law not to be
81	81	codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
82	82	A. This act shall be known and may be cited as the "Anti-
83	83	Terrorism Elected Official Accountability Act".
84	84	B. The purpose of this legislation is to safeguard the
85	85	integrity of public office an d national security by establishing
86	86	procedures for the removal or sanction of elected officials found to
87	87	support known terrorist groups.

139	139	SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
140	140	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 111 of Title 51, unless there is
141	141	created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
142	142	A. Any elected official found to provide material suppor t,
143	143	endorsement, or advocacy for a kn own terrorist group shall be
144	144	subject to removal from office or other appropriate sanctions. For
145	145	purposes of this section, "known terrorist group " means entities
146	146	identified as a terrorist group by credible national or
147	147	international intelligence agencies.
148	148	B. A thorough investigation shall be conducted by the Oklahoma
149	149	State Bureau of Investigation to ascertain the alleged support or
150	150	association with a known terrorist group. If substantial evidence
151	151	is found, a determination shall be made by the Oklahoma State Bureau
152	152	of Investigation regarding the culpability of the elected official.
153	153	C. Removal proceedings shall be initiated through the
154	154	Legislature upon the determination of the elected official 's support
155	155	for a known terrorist group. A fair and transparent hearing shall
156	156	be conducted, affording the elected official the opportunity to
157	157	present a defense.
158	158	D. Sanctions may include, but are not limited to , suspension of
159	159	duties, censure, or fines. In extreme cases, where the evidence is
160	160	incontrovertible, removal from office may be deemed necessary.
