40	49		An Act relating to children; directing that certain
41	50		documents be given to c ertain persons; providing for
42	51		codification; and providing an effective date .

48	57		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF TH E STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
49	58		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
50	59		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Secti on 2-7-621 of Title 10A, unless
51	60		there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
52	61		A person who has been placed in the custody of the Office of
53	62		Juvenile Affairs, who has attained eighteen (18) years of age , and
54	63		who is being released from the custody of the Office of Juvenile
55	64		Affairs with a plan to re-enter the community as a resident of the
56	65		State shall be given the following documents pertaining to the
57	66		person upon release:
58		-	1. An official or certified copy of the United States birth
59		-	certificate;
60		-	2. A Social Security card issued by the Commissioner of Social

94	104		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
