4049 An Act relating to children; directing that certain

4857 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF TH E STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
4958 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5059 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Secti on 2-7-621 of Title 10A, unless
5160 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5261 A person who has been placed in the custody of the Office of
5362 Juvenile Affairs, who has attained eighteen (18) years of age , and
5463 who is being released from the custody of the Office of Juvenile
5564 Affairs with a plan to re-enter the community as a resident of the
5665 State shall be given the following documents pertaining to the
5766 person upon release:
58-1. An official or certified copy of the United States birth
59-certificate;
60-2. A Social Security card issued by the Commissioner of Social

94104 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
