100 | 114 | 1. Upgrade the availability of quality dental care services for | |

103 | 117 | state by geographic loc ation; and | |
104 | 118 | 3. Increase access to dental care to those who are dependent on | |
105 | 119 | the state for necessary dental care ; | |
106 | 120 | 4. Allow providers to work at the top of their license and | |
107 | 121 | utilize supporting roles; and | |

150 | 165 | five thirty full-time equivalent Oklahoma licensed dentists per year | |
151 | 166 | including new and continuing con tract renewable participants. | |
152 | 167 | 3. Each award shall be for a co ntracted period and shall be | |
153 | 168 | distributed to the participa nt by drafts made payable to the | |
154 | 169 | participant for deposit to an appropriate loan agency in equal | |
155 | 170 | monthly disbursements, not to exc eed Fifty Thousand Dollars | |
156 | 171 | ($50,000.00) Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) per year for a | |
157 | 172 | maximum five-year period. Prior to any disbursement, the Department | |

199 | 215 | 1. Any general practice denti st entering the Program each year | |
200 | 216 | as a nonfaculty participa nt shall agree to provide dental care and | |
201 | 217 | services in a designated Dental Health Professional Shortage Area | |
202 | 218 | (DHPSA) of this state. | |
203 | 219 | 2. Any dentist licensed to practice as a Pediatric Dentistry | |
204 | 220 | Specialist as defined by the State Dental Act or any dentist | |

245 | 262 | E. The dentist shall execute a contract with the Department to | |
246 | 263 | provide dental services pursuant to the terms of the contract and in | |
247 | 264 | accordance with rules promulgated by the Department. | |
248 | 265 | F. If the dentist does not fulfill the service obligation, t he | |
249 | 266 | Department may collect from the participant the entire amount of | |
250 | 267 | loan payments made under the Program plus int erest. | |
251 | 268 | G. The Department shall present a report on the operation of | |
252 | 269 | the Program to the Governor, the Speaker of the House of | |
253 | 270 | Representatives, and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate within | |
254 | 271 | one (1) month of the beginning of each regular session of the | |
255 | 272 | Legislature including but not limited to the progress made in | |
256 | 273 | accomplishing the go al of the Program. | |
