42	42	rejection a proposed amendm ent to the Constitution of
43	43	the State of Oklahoma by adding a new Section 6 to

52	52	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND THE SENATE OF THE
53	53	1ST SESSION OF THE 5 9TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:
54	54	SECTION 1. The Secretary of State shall refer to the people for
55	55	their approval or rejection, as and in the manner provided by law,
56	56	the following proposed amendment to the Constitution of the State of
57	57	Oklahoma by adding a new Secti on 6 to Article III thereof, to read
58	58	as follows:
59	59	Section 6. Beginning with the first General Election after the
60	60	passage of this act, and each General Election thereafter, the
61	61	Secretary of the State Election Board shall not prin t the party
62	62	affiliation of any candidate on any ballot for a General Election in

90	90	to promulgate rules to carry out the provisions of this section.
91	91	SECTION 2. The Ballot Title for the proposed Constitutional
92	92	amendment as set forth in SECTION 1 of this resolution shall be in

96	96	THE GIST OF THE PROPOSITION IS AS FOLLOWS:
97	97	This measure adds a new section to the Oklahoma Constitution.
98	98	It prohibits the Secretary of the State Election Board from
99	99	printing the party affiliation of any candidate on a ballot at a
100	100	General Election. It authorizes the Secretary to promulgate
101	101	rules.
